Anyone in Hampton Roads monitor the aircraft traffic on 371.05 conducting commo and video circuit checks with "Maintenance?" It's been active for the last few days, and I can't figure out who it is. It referred to radio operator positions in various parts of aircraft not working. Also refers to testing HF in both USB and LSB emission. Could be an E-2 from NAS Norfolk? The signal was loud and clear, so I'm thinking they're not too far from my location in Chesapeake.

No one in the Mid-Atlantic Milair forum had anything on that frequency. Can anyone help?

Awesome catch! That could be gotta be E2C maintenance at NAS Oceana or Chambers Field (NAS Norfolk). Carrier Air Wings, 1, 3, 7, and 8 call NAS Oceana home, and there's five Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadrons. That's about as far I can nail it down, but I'll be adding that to my scanner and see if I can gather some more info. I hope that helps you out, and if I'm wrong/have old info, someone will correct me!
