I recently moved to Hancock County and am trying to reprogram my Pro-106. I previously had my scanner programmed for Shelby County and did not have any problems. I haven't used this scanner for a while and tried to program it for Hancock county. I entered in the control and alternate frequencies along with the corresponding groups for Safe-T (I think). I have also upgraded the firmware to 2.1 on my scanner. I do see it picking up transmissions, but I cannot hear anything. I though it might be because I am closer to the Indianapolis side of Hancock County (McCordsville), but it looks like the signal strength is strong. I programmed in conventional frequencies for the Indianapolis Regional Airport and am hearing transmissions. I've attached a screen capture of my Win500 settings. I'm sure I am doing something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

-Chad Clark

It looks as if Hancock is on sites 30 and 41?. They both have some rebanded freqs. so you will need to put in Custom Tables for the scanner to be able to track those freqs. The freqs. with a zero in the 4th decimal place (like 853.3500) can not be tracked without the Custom Tables.
I don't have the details so you will have to search for them.

Thank you! I downloaded the latest version of Win500 and loaded the "800 Mhz Rebanded" frequencies and set the Trunking to "Custom" and added the site 41 control and alternate frequencies in the system frequencies since I already had site 30. I uploaded to the scanner and now I am hearing the Greenfield Police dispatch. Thanks so much!

I'm glad that was the answer. And I thank you for rreplying. So often many of us here help people and they never even bother to reply.
