Handheld GRE

I am in the market for an analog handheld, for it's portability. I have been looking at the PSR-700 and the PSR-310. I can not see very much difference in the two. Price, roughly the same, and so on and so forth. As far as ease of programming; that won't be an issue for me, in the event that one is easier than the other. Do any of you own both of these? If so, what are the differences that I should be looking at? Any thoughts or preferences would be appreciated. Thanks.

The PSR-310 would be better if you plan to program by hand. The PSR-700 would be better if you want to program using software.

ive had the 310 for about a year now,low serial numbers,,
love it,trunks great,bold display,white back light,,rebandable,
great coverage..

the 310 is my first Grecom,im very happy..my next radio will
be the psr 800..love GRE..
