Handheld Scanner For NS

Looking at purchasing a handheld (portable) scanner for fire, police, EMS and airport in the Halifax NS region. I believe there is a mix of analog, digital and TMR.

Just wondering what make/model the forum members might suggest.

imho, if you absolutely need digital, the gre psr-500 is one of the best choices. the digital decoding is second to none,on a scanner. if you want digital with features galore, it's the bcd396xt. read the wiki's on both,plus all the info.on the board.
