Hands on a BC296D

Does anyone know of a place other than HRO in South Denver that I can touch & listen to a BC296D? I live in the Downtown area. I am having a heck of a time deciding between the Pro96 & the BC296D. I'm a poor old man, and $500 is a sh*t load of money for a toy...LOL.

BC296D

The BC296D is the exact same thing as a BC250D with some slight upgrade to the electronics to listen to the 9600 buad system hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply, BUT it did not help. I have touched & listened to a Pro96 at Radio Shack. I was asking if there is a place other than HRO where I can touch & listen to the Uniden Bearcat. HRO is too far, and when I went there years ago, they weren't too friendly in the scanner department. I called Radio Service Center today, and they do not have them.
I AM LOOKING FOR A PLACE IN THE NORTH METRO, BOULDER, etc. area.
