Happy Canada Day

Just a little post to wish everyone in this forum a Happy Canada Day ..

I am happy that we live in one of the best countries in the world.

It is nice that we don't have to worry about carrying a gun for protection and actually have things to listen to on our scanners, due to a lack of too many totally encrypted systems. We don't live in fear and aren't scared of snow. What more can we ask for ?

Except for the price of gas, :roll: i think we are doing well.

OOOOH, don't get me going on the price of "our" gas. It kind of ruins the fun out of wanting to drive somewhere. Costs more to get there than the entry fees at many parks, etc.. Stayed home for Canada Day. Too much yard work to be done so couldn't get out and celebrate. Doesn't sound like Lethbridge had a good Day.

Gas.... just you wait its not going to stop. Look forward to nuclear energy in the future as opposed to coal, heavy oil (bunker C/6 oils) or gas & diesel fuels.

Bet your money you won't be surprised when it hits $200 a barrel.

And don't get me started on those electric cars, with the loss through the grid in the end its not as efficient as you'd think.... and its worse in the end being here in Alberta most of the plants are coal fired that would run to the grid.
