On this date in 1897, Guglielmo Marconi obtained a patent for radio in London.

Was this the birth of radio being readily available? Or at least the intention for it to be?

I don't know, but it seems like a good time to celebrate a little device which we all enjoy. Unless of course you are still waiting on Canada Post to process your TECSUN.
