I would presume 8N1 for this? Ok, ok, I'll RTFM!Check page 24 of your owner's manual.
Serial port settings on the SDS200 default to 9600 bps.
Other settings available are: off, 4800, 19200, 38400, 57600, or 115200 bps.
It is 8,N,1 however the scanner and all programs(like my ProScan) hard code this. If you're thinking of the Port Settings in the Device Manager, no need to change anything there as those settings will have no effect.I would presume 8N1 for this? Ok, ok, I'll RTFM!
I always recommend using the highest baud rate the scanner supports which is 115.2KDoes anyone know what rhe baud rate is for the SDS 200 happens to be?

Well, not quite! The Uniden GPS is 9600 Baud. I also have a Homebrew GPS which both work on the SDS 200 and it is 4800 Baud.default is 4800 bps for a GPS device.
Why wonder about BAUD rates on the SDS 200 unless he is talking about the GPS?I always recommend using the highest baud rate the scanner supports which is 115.2K
You're right. The scanner Serial Port mode is fixed at 115.2KWhy wonder about BAUD rates on the SDS 200 unless he is talking about the GPS?
default is 4800 bps for a GPS device.
