I don't see anything in any official documentation that says there's a set rate or not. However I see for GPS pucks it looks as if 9600 seems to be the rate that pops up most. You didn't really say what your goal was - GPS? Remote control? Etc. There may be other factors to look at for serial com besides just the rate. Word length, parity, etc. Best of luck.

Does anyone know what rhe baud rate is for the SDS 200 happens to be?
Thanks so Much!

Theodore

Check page 24 of your owner's manual.

Serial port settings on the SDS200 default to 9600 bps.

Other settings available are: off, 4800, 19200, 38400, 57600, or 115200 bps.

I would presume 8N1 for this? Ok, ok, I'll RTFM! :ROFLMAO:
It is 8,N,1 however the scanner and all programs(like my ProScan) hard code this. If you're thinking of the Port Settings in the Device Manager, no need to change anything there as those settings will have no effect.

Yeah, which is why I would presume it... The statement from me was more to clarify for Ted. I haven't seen anything else in popular use since around '82 or so (+/-5 years, I'm old! Lol)
