Hi vampiro
Welcome to RadioReference & the Texas Forum.

Which system are you trying to set up? If you are working on the analog TxWARN system, Texas Wide Area Radio Network (TxWARN) Motorola Trunking System, Metro Houston area, Texas - Scanner Frequencies, then you must enter the custom tables for the Baytown tower because of rebanding. See this Wiki page to help you get started. Are you using software, such as FreeSCAN, or programming through the keyboard?

For the other TxWARN system, TxWARN P25, that system is digital, and unfortunately, your BCT15X cannot track that system or decode digital transmissions. You would need to upgrade to a digital scanner. Your choices would include:

Make Model Type
GRE PSR-500 Handheld
GRE PSR-600 Base/Mobile
GRE PSR-800 Handheld
Radio Shack PRO-18 Handheld
Radio Shack PRO-106 Handheld
Radio Shack PRO-197 Base/Mobile
Uniden BCD396T Handheld
Uniden BCD396XT Handheld
Uniden BCD996T Base/Mobile
Uniden BCD996XT Base/Mobile
Uniden HomePatrol-1 Base/Mobile

The BCD396T & BCD996T are both discontinued, but can be found occasionally in the classifieds here on RadioReference, on eBay, and elsewhere.

i figured it out brand new to scanning i did alot of digging to find it but this worked

1.Hit menu then select the system you want to change
2.Then click on site and go to band plan
3. input this info into band plan 1 and 2

this is for standard rebanded systems

For standard rebanded systems, you need to set Band Plan 1 and Band Plan 2 as:

Band Base Freq Base Freq Offset Polarity Spacing
Plan (lower) (Upper)

1 851.025MHz 854.000MHz 440 + 25kHz

2 851.0125MHz 868.9875MHz 0 + 25kHz
