Ugh, bad call. Evacuating a building only puts kids out in the open for a shooter to do it within view of parents and media. The state is pushing hard to get schools aware of the need to keep kids indoors for bomb threats. 1) School buildings can handle an ordinary bomb by just getting kids out of the class that has the bomb. 2) It's been 70 years since the last time a school kid was hurt by a bomb in Michigan, and that one had a secondary device planted outside too.
