on Saturday, February 23rd @ 6:00 pm or 1800 Emergency Medical Services will be changing in Harrison, NJ Hudson County, MONOC (906) will be replaced by Prime, AKA St. Clares EMS (8X and 8X). from an excellent source 911 calls will be handled by the Hudson County Sheriffs office communications and transferred to the Harrison Police Department. Dispatch will be done on the Harrison Fire Department frequency ( 472.075 DPL 115 ) also St Clares communications center will also have access to the Harrison Fire Department Radio system for direct communications. while one ambulance is 24/7 they will also have a second power truck from roughly 11:00 am to 11:00 pm daily. This is to cover Harrison and other Mutual Aid calls, after the local resources from St Clares are expended 1st M/A town is Kearny EMS ( 502.1125 NAC 315 ) and 2nd M/A town is North Arlington ( 155.2500 TPL 110.9 ) also owns a fire ambulance its an old North Bergen Ambulance which is numbered Harrison EMS 3 which is a type 1 ambulance. Paramedic ALS calls will still be handled by MONOC primary ALS Unit is MONOC 256 located in Belleville NJ and secondary which is MONOC unit 257 which is posted in North Arlington at there EMS building which operates Monday thru Friday from 0700 to 1900 - they operate on the NJICS 700 MHZ system on Talk Group ( 4731) There was no mention if St Clares will be using their radio system from Spectrum Communications concerning the Town of Harrison I may lock in Harrison and the Spectrum system over the weekend to see if there are any Communications between the St Clares Harrison units to the St Clares Communications center.
