Harrisonburg/ Rockingham/Page P25 & SDS100

I've had an SDS100 for around 2 weeks, but I haven't been too impressed with the audio on Harrisonburg/ Rockingham/ Page's P25 (Harris) system. I have played around with the digital audio settings and found little improvement. I briefly thought turning the ATT on helped. It may help at times, but it typically sounds better with it turned off. The RSSI ranges usually from -60 to -90. I would say it typically averages around -70.

I also have a BCD436hp that sounds similar to the SDS on the system, but my Unication G5 sounds perfect. I was thinking after some adjustments, the audio on the 100 would be comparable to the G5.

Anyone have any experiences with the 100 on H/R/P's system or any suggestions? It's not bad... it's just not great and I'm a little underwhelmed with it.

Even with me being close to the valley towers (less than 5 miles) and the gain is pretty low, the audio is okay-ish. I still get some garble here and there. I hear it on my RTL-SDRs. Even with my BCD325p2, its okay too. I haven't really used it on my portable since I don't go out as much (I try to look up other frequencies).
