I've seen those kits for quite a while and have not yet pulled the trigger. I might to have another project, but one would almost need a filter set to ensure it runs clean.

They sell the LPF kit as well. It seems awful small for a 100 watt amp. Its also tricky to bias to calibrate according to the link but if given the time and effort for a 100 watt kit and filter under 90.00 it might be worth the pain of solderring :) You could always pull the trigger on a store bought premade amp for 500 to 1000 bucks. Add a heat sink and fan and the time to build it might be worth the effort.

Well I pulled the trigger but have not built it yet. I am guessing for such a low price (and you buy the heat sink) it is very touchy on any antenna with high SWR. In other words, if the antenna is not resonant, you blow the finals. Still the price was compelling to say the least.
