Bought two of them.

One I donated to a needy ham. The other I will put in a suitcase for My Porsche 928. Some cars shouldn't have Mobile installations made.

Compare prices on Amazon.

I have a JT270M that works very well. It is only ten watts, but with a good mobile antenna I can hit repeaters 15 to 20 miles away consistently. It has been on sale lately for around $60.00.

I've never used one but my brother purchased one to build up a "Go Kit". I talked to him using my Kenwood TM-V71A and his signal was strong and clear. I don't know it behaves/receives in a noisy RF area though.

My club bought 6 of them to use to support local bicycle road events to put in SAG vehicles. The radios have been used for two events so far and have worked very well. We keep the radios in a Pelican case for easy storage and transportation. They could see future use in a disaster setting, if needed.

I have one of the 10 watt Jetstreams. They are worth the price but no more. Mine has been very reliable and I use it for net check ins where I don't need high power. Good little radios. And I do mean little!
