Thanks for everyone who replied... When the way my schedule has been, it may be a while... a few weeks... maybe a month... before I can get the ball rolling...

In my area I listen to PD, Fire, & EMS in the 150's and a few UHF links... that's about it...

hey steel...pass on the RS coax. Swing by "wally world" on your way to the house and grab some Phillips RG6 Quad shield. I'm seeing good performance with it, (RX only) Let us know how it turns out

I already have 100' of the Phillips RG6 Quad shield that I planned on using.

Some people might not have a multicoupler, so they run 2 antenna instead..?

I prefer one antenna per scanner in my case.....just seems to work better than a multicoupler for me.

Yep I have better luck doing the same as fuzzymoto.
