Hello,

Voicelink is a CT statewide Passport network created by Marcus. Looking at the operational area that Hunter covers it is likely they are on Voicelink. I have heard Ambulance and Limo services on the system so that could be Hunter.
http://www.voicelink.net/

Marcus' license for 461.7875 is in Trumbull CT. Other frequencies licensed at the site are 451.9875, 463.4375, 463.9375, and 464.4125. I do not have that frequency logged as being Passport. It is possible that those frequencies are Regular LTR as a Passport system can support Regular LTR as well.

The nearest Voicelink site to Trumbull is site 113 in New Haven using 463.6375, 463.9375, 464.3625, 464.6125, and 464.8625. Hunter is based in Meriden so likely they will be heard on Wolcott site 50 (451.0375, 451.2125, 452.9125,461.5875, and 464.7875) or Durham site 60 (451.9875, 452.4375, 463.8875, and 463.9125).

You have to scan a Passport system with a Scanner conventionally. It is possible to trunktrack but it requires a receiver with a discriminator tap, a low-pass filtered data slicer, a computer with LTRTrunk software, and a computer controllable receiver.

If you search this site using the keyword Passport there are a few threads about Passport and how to scan it conventionally.

463.9125 appears to be the main one to monitor at this time..

joehawth the database can work wonders for finding what frequencies different departments and services use ;)

But to make this post helpfull and not a flame post, they are currently using 461.7875 with a PL tone of 141.3

Hunters

Hunter's has been simulcasting their Marcus dispatch talk group on that 461.7875 PL 141.3 frequency for quite some time now. It's a good one to monitor, but because it's low power, only in the immediate Meriden surrounding area. 452.325 is used between Hunter's and Middletown Fire Dispatch. If you notice after Middletown dispatches an ambulance, they ask if Hunter's received it. This is because they are also transmitting directly over the 452.325 PL 192.8 frequency simultaneously.

I get 461.7875 pl 141.3 loud and clear in Milford on my bcd396xt with the outside discone ant.
Boy they are busy
set the radio for NFM (narrow FM mode) for best audio

It is in the RR database here:
