I have been hearing units on APD dispatch. I am trying to see if they're using APD dispatch as their main dispatch now because I hear three digit unit numbers on the units. I know Albany is not that big.

I would rather listen to LPSO on analog than
LWIN. Plus all my ham UHF radios will get the analog.

They are using both until the parish buys enough 700mhz systems. They are patched via cable so both can be used. The LPSO is listed under the Albany TG.. I think someone said above

They have enough 700s. The 400 is the "back-up" incase a tower goes out wide area ops or some type of failure.

Now the smaller cities may be using 400s, but they have been on lwin for years, so really no reason to have not purchased 700s yet.
