:?

Help! I'm in Hattiesburg and new to scanning. Just bought an RS Pro-95; the store programmed it with the local frequencies they had, BUT:

1. I suspect that there are DOZENS of local police, sheriff, EMS, and fire frequencies that were not programmed. How do I get ALL of them, including state police?

2. If I am traveling elsewhere and want to program the scanner for ALL available local police, sheriff, EMS, and fire frequencies in another location, is there a shortcut for doing this?

3. l0 codes. These seem to vary wildly from one place to another. How do I get the local ones -- at least -- for Forrest County, MS?

Thanks.

All Forrest County Law, Fire, EOC, EMA are on the Forrest County Trunked Radio System. AAA Amubulance is about the only H'burg local agency that still uses VHF Hi as well as the 800 MHz Motorola Type II TRS. Jones County is also all on the Jones County Trunked Radio System, also 800 MHz Motorola Type II TRS. For all the other surrounding areas look at the Database here as I keep it as up to date as possible.
