is there a setting for narrow or wide band you may need to change that to program the channel if not you may need a scanner that can be programmed to narrow as well as wide band

Hello,
Does anyone know the hatzolah ambulance repeater inputs frequency?
I am a radio programmer.

Thanks

If you are programming radios for them, you should ask them.
If you are programming radios for someone else, and have permission, ask them.
If you don't have permission, stop.

Hatzolah is the biggest volunteer organization in the world.

Hatzolah of NYC is the biggest Hatzolah they cover the Catskills region as well upstate NY witch is very active during the summer.

Hatzolah of NYC/Catskills has over 1,500 volunteers and over 100 ambulances they are devided in 15 different neighborhoods.
Every neighborhood operates for them self different ambulances and different members but it's all under one dispatch.

The radio dispatch works under a base station system which only the dispatch center can hear all radios.
They have multiple TX/RX towers all over the state and they have a great signal all over the state!

The frequency they operate is: 160.28000 PL 167.9

They use the Motorola MDC-1200 signaling system For unit ID's and for different group codes.
Each of the 15 neighborhoods have their different group code.
In every group code there is 5 different groups for ALL,EMTs,Paramedics,Supervisors, & Service.

There are also different Hatzolahs in New York State

Rockland county Hatzolah also has over 15 ambulances and over 200 volunteers.

They do work on repeater systems.

Their RX:159.885. DPL 074
TX: 160.93500. DPL 074

The have a MDC repeater access code to transmit which I will not share.

They work under the same MDC-1200 system like NYC with groups & IDs.

Kiryas Joel Hatzolah witch is a town in Orange County has about 8 ambulances with a 100 volunteers.

They also operate through a repeater system.

RX:155.95500. PL 167.9
TX:153.96500 PL 167.9

They lately updated using as well MDC-1200 PTT ID's but they don't use groups.

That's all the organizations in NYC.
There is numerous other Hatzolah EMS organizations throughout New Jersey, & Connecticut as well And all over the globe.

Ummmm, no--Hatzolah may be the largest volunteer EMS organization, but it isn't the world's largest volunteer organization--as you stated.

The International Federation of Red Cross has 17 million volunteers.

Very Accurate

Ummmm, no--Hatzolah may be the largest volunteer EMS organization, but it isn't the world's largest volunteer organization--as you stated.

The International Federation of Red Cross has 17 million volunteers.

And the second largest is the Salvation Army, both of whom are nationally recognized disaster aid organizations that maintain extensive DC to daylight communications suites and are actually on the Federal government SHARES system.

Also both organizations have no pecuniary interest, questionable agendas or selective intentions, they serve "ALL" people in need.
