HI Everyone: My radio station applied for permission to air a live audio feed back in October, and so far I've heard nothing.
When I go to the start page to begin the broadcast, the alarm indicates there is no such name as "wrktam" associated with the file.
Does this mean I've not been approved, or it's just a technical error?
Thanks for any assistance.

Radio station? They only do live feeds for police scanners and HAM radios, not really anything regarding any publicly broadcast radio station.

If you are referring to a feed for: KVII TV station
From feed owner: Amarillo-pronews-7
Description: Potter and Randall Counties Public Safety
This was approved by me on: 2012-10-30

You totally mis-understood the question by assuming we wanted to air broadcast audio. lol
My radio station is a building. In one part of this building is an office, containing a computer where our IT person works. We were simply requesting permission to use a UNIDEN scanner to broadcast LOCAL SHERIFF 's audio on R.R. We're such a small station, we only have 4 news staff, and it's great to monitor BREVARD on R.R. We "never" intended to broadcast Station's audio. 2 days after tech problems were solved, lightning took out computer. Welcome to Florida, Lightning Mecca of the world.
We're going to attempt a live audio feed '"POLICE AUDIO"...on Saturday Nov. 17th with new computer...so please hold off on worrying about broadcast audio being sent over R.R. I've carefully read the R.R. policy on what is permitted & we intend to follow the rules.
That was an assumption on "your" part.

Perhaps you could leave this matter to the R.R. ADMINISTRATORS (if you don't mind) Unless you're someone in authority at Radio Reference.

Who are you talking to? Please use the "Quote" method when replying to someone. Aside from that, your first post was confusing so please don't go after members when it's not their fault.

Several Ham operators in our area "warned" me about R.R. members who would inject un-welcomed & non-useful comments in the forums if we had a tech problem.
They were correct! During an attempt to solve a port problem & become a feed provider in good standing, along comes this idiot with an irrelevant comment about our problem.
Yes, this is a Radio Station, but this imbecile could not comprehend this fact.
We withdraw our application for feed, & will not bother you again. But this radio station (which is streamed on line) did a follow up broadcast on Saturday describing our "bad" experience with R.R. & we logged 274 phone calls "on air" who agree that the R.R. forums are filled with people who cannot read, & do not wish to help others with tech problems, only to whine & moan like a bunch of old women.
17 of the callers claimed to be R.R. administrators (which I don't believe), but no way to verify.
We NEVER EVEN had a chance to begin, without being ridiculed by R.R. hacks like you, and forum members. Glad we learned the lesson early. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

My radio station applied for a broadcast feed (in good faith) as 1st time users.
Thanks to your unwelcomed, & unsolicited interference, we've apparently been banned from using the R.R. site.
Is this your idea of supporting radio users?
We're a Christian based radio station here in Central Florida,....and unwarranted intrusion seemed like an attack against this station merely to stop us from monitoring.
The FCC carefully monitors our conduct, and those who would attack us...and I've sent a letter of complaint to the FCC through our attorneys based on your conduct, and that of RADIO REFERENCE.

Please calm down a bit.

You haven't been banned, I don't see any off topic comments, and a live audio administrator has stated that he approved a feed similar to yours.

Radioreference is not out to get you.

Nobody ridiculed you. It is helpful to those reading your post if you quote the specific person you're responding to.

The other post offered suggestions on why your feed may not have been approved. You left out pertinent information in your first post and we could only assume what you were trying to say.

If you are having problems, please work with our live audio team to get things worked out.

Now that I know more or less what feed you are referring to:
I approve your feed for:
Brevard County Sheriff Dispatch
Feed owner: wrktam
On Nov 3.
It first went online Nov 10.
It is currently offline & has been on & off line several times since it first went online.

If you are having feed issues, please use submit a help request found on your feed page & we will try to help as best we can.
