have trunking scanner need help

i am a tow truck driver in CT. we do alot of towing for Troop L. i have a triple trunking scanner. just curious if i am able to set it up to scan for troop L. thanks.

my scanner is a Pro-164 1000 channel triple trunking scanner.

Sadly, no. You need a "digital scanner" or any scanner that supports decoding APCO Project 25 audio. While the state police uses a Motorola Type II system, which is supported by your scanner, it won't be able to decode the audio because it is digital not analog.

Yep a good digital scanner is about $500.00. He's going to have to tow a bunch of cars there.
