Having trouble with the trunking frequencies

Just got a whistler ws1065. Used arc500 to program it. I can only hear the high band frequencies. None of the digital frequencies are coming through. Any tips? I live in Ohio if that helps

Zanesville ohio, Muskingum County. I am trying to monitor Fire, EMS, Sheriff, Zanesville Police, OSP, and ODOT. and possibly surrounding counties of the same agencies

For your location, I would use the South Zanesville site of the Ohio MARCS statewide trunked system. Give me some time and I will create a file for the trunked system so you can see how it is done. I will attach the file for you to upload to the scanner when it is completed. I see that you are a premium subscriber. You can download directly from the Radio Reference database using ARC500.

I downloaded all three tower sites, Dresden, Duncan falls, and Zanesville. It scans the frequency, I just can't hear anything. Only thing I can hear is the vhf frequencies that I have programmed for our county fire dept dispatching. I'm an Advanced EMT here in the area as well as a firefighter. I would just like to listen to things as well as local law enforcement. Thank you so much for taking the time to do those things for me!!

Give this file a try. There are no conventional frequencies. It is using just the Zanesville South site. The talkgroups are all in scan list 1. Save the attached zipped file to your computer and extract. Open the extracted file with ARC500 and Upload to Scanner.
