Havis console brackets for SDS200

7 inches wide, 3 inches tall, 2.5 inches from bracket hole to front faceplate...anyone know what Havis brackets would fit this radios physical specifications?

Motorola Spectra brackets are 7 inches wide, 2 inches tall, and 2.25 inches from bracket hole to front faceplate, but rather have something that fits better.

Yeah, custom cutting metal is not what I am looking for here...

4 straight cuts, each about 1/8th inch. Not exactly custom cutting.

Apparently, Havis says this fits the SDS200...specified for 7" wide and 3" tall, generic with multiple mounting holes for securing the brackets to the scanner.

Wow, takes up TWICE the console space real estate as a freakin Motorola bracket....eek!

Scanner is pretty tall. Guess they could have made it 3.5 tall, but leaves only 1/ 4” on top and bottom. At least it is device specific and not a generic one fits all.

I went with the 2 piece 7x3" generic brackets...I have a 30 inch console, and even with the 3" per SDS, I am still using 28.5" of the 30".

The fit is good. Little different face place design compared to the Troy console faceplates, and the texture of the finish is smoother than the powder coat texture of the Troy. But it fit fine in the Troy console, but did have to drill a couple new holes for the faceplate to match up with the rails in the Troy.

The SDS200 is supposed to be 1-1/2 DIN.
