Yesterday afternoon I heard Hawthorne FD doing a radio check on 45.4200 136.5 . I know earlier in the day their entire dispatch center was offline for a period of time and North Haledon was handling calls for them. Is this a new frequency for them or an old one they still have access to?

Makes sense still, considering some surrounding towns are/were on lowband.

Waldwick NJ's PD backup and TAC channel is 37.2600 . Formal PD dispatch traffic is on 453.7875 .

Who is still on lowband besides North Haledon?

Are we talking about fire or PD?

West Milford PD, Fire, EMS, Oakland Fire/EMS, PD are patched, Pompton Lks FAS, and FD tone on lowband, as well as Riverdale fire.

Maybe not necessarily next to N Haledon, but some of them are still in Passaic County.
