Hays County/San Marcos

Anyone in the Hays/San Marcos area have any update on there supposed switch to the LCRA Open Sky network? I have seen on and off again patches to the LCRA P25 network of the primary Sheriff and PD channel and some random fire channels with some P25 Radio ID's so was unsure what is happening up there.

I was in the Hays County area for the 4th of July(visiting in laws) and ran into these under the p25..perhaps testing mode for rollout???

The patches I am seeing are in the 5000's series, they are in the LCRA P25 database page. On The P25 system so far any talkgroups in the 60000's series have been a patch group to patch two channels together.

Any update on the area? Haven't heard anything about them on opensky or p25

I did notice this weekend,was picking up all the 6500's constantly.and EDACS was not really used..

While visiting i did notice the EDAC's were not very active at all, and the 6500's were always busy... in the Kyle area (HAYS COUNTY).
