Hazlet PD is now dispatching on narrowband 460.5875 dcs 332. The application was submitted in January and authorized on February 26. As I am typing this post I just heard a radio check on 460.2750 now with dcs 252. They were still calling 460.2750 channel 1 so it is still unknown if they will be using the new frequency as there new dispatch channel or will remain using the old frequency.4:05 pm just switched back over to ch.1 460.2750dcs 252 I have not yet submitted this to the database yet. FYI Hazlet PD uses Vertex radios provide by PMC Associates in Hazlet. Two-Way Radio Communications Services | PMC Associates NJ

I can say I heard normal ops on 460.2750 with dcs 252 at 5:55pm today. The old 460.2750 with 156.7 PL has been silent for about 2 hours now also.

As of 6:30 pm today normal ops can be heard on both 460.2750 dcs 252 and on 460.2750 156.7PL. Using a pro-163 and a bc780xlt. Have not programmed in 460.5875 dcs 332 so can say if it is being used or not.

Hazlet 460.275 puts out a very strong signal. I can hear it loud and clear all the way up in West Orange (using an outdoor antenna). I also pull in Mount Vernon, NY PD on the same frequency.

...460.275 is still channel 1(Dispatch). Channel 2 is for road details and for privacy. Channel 2 will be encryption capable. Still unclear if dispatch will go full time encryption, but word on the street is, it will.....

For purposes of the database here, is the correct tone for 460.2750 PL 156.7 or will they be using DPL 252? In post 2, dynamitesc03 stated he heard activity on both.

Getting Hazlet PD right now on 460.275 (D252) (at 11:26 am on 04/03)
Also tried PL 156.7 and received nothing, just the D252

It don't sound narrow banded either....blasting loud here. Had to turn volume down.

The FCC database has the emission designator 11K2F3E for all frequencies as of now. Pyro do you mind saying who you dispatch for is it Hazlet, and if so do you know my uncle Tony Kozielski or cousin Pete Kozielski they are with Hazlet Fire Co. house 1.

The move to channel two was to allow radio repair to install the new repeater. I believe the DCS will be their new tone. Also the audio was over modulated due to microphone issues.

Today, 74.4 is the PL on 460.275........DPL 252 doesn't work..... Your guess is as good as mine,.

Can't seem to get anything on my pro-163 tonight. Have all the channels programmed in right. Either they aren't talking or moved elsewhere(9:52pm) Think I may try putting in no codes see if I get something.

I am still getting them on 460.2750 74.4. They may be doing some silent dispatching as Old Bridge calls it and record checks on there MDT's. I think they just updated there MDT's they are now using badge numbers on the air instead of car numbers.

I'm not even receiving anything on that channel. Using a pro-163 right now been silent here yesterday and today. Receive their FD/Ems dispatches perfect, receiving all surrounding towns fine.

Hi everyone, I know this thread is a few months old, but I was hoping someone could help me. I am trying to program my radio with the Hazlet PD frequency. Ive used 460.275 with DPL 252, and I hear nothing. If I bypass the the PL I am able to hear it. Any help would be appreciated.

Sure you didnt program it in as a NAC code?(thats different)
That is the correct DPL.per Radio Reference make sure you have it as conventonal
I would just program it without the code if all else fails
if it is a PL of 74 someone should alert Radio reference....
