CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, Co. -- Saturday morning South Metro Fire responded to a home in Cherry Hills Village on a suspicious odor which made residence sick.
A total of seven people who were in the home, including two firefighters, were transported to Swedish Hospital.
For several hours Saturday morning South Metro’s hazardous materials unit investigated for the origin of the odor.
Turns out an SUV was left running in the garage of the residence which pump Carbon Monoxide into the home.
The conditions on five on the residence s transported are not known at this time. The two fire fighters are being treated and will be released shortly.
