Some kind of hazmat situation is going on at Arundel Mills Mall. Engine 211 and Shift Commander were on location and requested the County's Hazmat Team Hot to the location.

Suspicious Device at Arundel Mills

I sent out an IPN page when it went down at 0856. The IC was on Echo. Stated that they had a 5gal plastic bucket with wires attached and a note mentioning explosives. It's on the NW side of the mall near Modell's. I just happened to have to go to Costco for gas and snapped about 10 telephoto shots but not really anything to see.

About 5 minutes, CMD said the Hazmat team and Annapolis Bomb Squad will investigate it. They advised that they will be on scene for an undetermined amount of time.

There is another suspicious package at a Post Office in Western District. AAFD and AAPD en route and just dispatched. Reported to be at the Millersville Post Office. PD advising that the Post Office got a call about it being in the mailbox.
