HBC Motorola Montreal

Is there a list of frequencies for HBC Montreal? I work for Hudson's Bay Company as a truck driver and we use hand held Motorola radio's to communicate with dispatch. I'd like to listen in on Wednesday when I'm off for a doctors appt. I'm sure we are trunked because we have to press a button and wait for an open frequency. I've done several google searches but don't seem to be getting anywhere. Can any one help?

You're not likely to find a system listed under HBC. Most of what is, is
low power "loss prevention" type licences. If could capture one,
preferrably more, frequencies of the system, using a frequency counter
or scanner with CloseCall (or equiv) feature, it would sure narrow down
the search. It is likely listed in TAFL, maybe even on Infoscan.

What kind of radios are they using? How many channels i.e. talkgroups
are in use? What is the coverage area of the system?

BC795D All I know is we use Motorola radios and were purchased at Telus. I'm not sure if my receiver has all those features. Do you? I live in Ottawa.

If it's a Motorola radio and it was purchased at Telus, then chances are it's on the Mike system and will be unmonitorable.

Do you have to wait for a beep before you can start talking?
