ARMER Frequencies
This may be a good place to discuss this. I recently got both a Uniden Bearcat BCD396XT and BCD996XT. Just for fun I have been working on different systems and frequencies to see if anything has changed. Needless to say, this is NOT a static hobby and things have changed. For example, despite what is shown here on the database, some of the frequencies at various sub-systems have changed. I did a search routine conventionally with DIGITAL ONLY modulation selected. Since each sub-system uses a different NAC code that is a good way to verify waht frequencies are used at each sub-system. I seem to recall that all of the control channels shown here are correct for the ones that I could verify, but the frequencies used at each sub-system changed somewhat. I also have verified that by scanning the various sub-systems and logging under AC XT PRO to confirm what frequencies are being used. To most people that use the control channel mode it doesn't matter, though.
As an aside, I did not realize that Eden Prairie has its own stand alone P25 trunked system. Did they use all of the old EF Johnson MultiNet frequencies and switch to P25 then?
I also found out that the old GE/Ericsson/Macom/Tyco EDACS Racom system here in the Twin Cities seems to be gone completely. Not that I ever monitored it very often.
Speaking of EDACS, I assume everything that was on Bloomington's old EDACS has switched to ARMER, or did anything stay separate?
With the weather, this might be a good time to confirm what public works departments have gone ARMER and which ones are still conventional. Actually, do we have some other systems, too? Did I read that Champlin or somewhere north metro has public works on an LTR system?
