I loaded up old HDSDR 2.70 with a very old rtlsdr extio that displays a PLL LOCKED in a green box in the EXTIO. On the R820T2 the noise level is 25-34 db lower than HDSDR 2.76 rtlsdr extio dec 2016 version. I anyone else noticed this? Please try different extio's and hdsdr versions to see for yourself. Then reply.
