I am receiving the error "Heap error 25C425 : 25CB on my whistler 1040 when pushing the pgm button. Any advice on resolving this issue?

I get the same message on my 1065 it drove me nuts and it just quit after hit factory reset where do you go and do your download for receivers model 1065 whistler.Where do you on to get your download

on another note, are the police bands scrambled? cant seem to receive clear transmission

No, you will not be able to monitor it.

If you look in the "Mode" column on the page kc4jgc linked to, anything with an E is encrypted and no scanner will be able to monitor those channels.

I have the ws1065. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to keep from over writing the v folders. I want to keep them .
Do I just do the reset push 1 after welcome screen ? Im using win500 to program
