Heard Mannford on 800

I heard Mannford FD talking to a Creek SO unit on the state 800 yesterday on Creek SO Channel A (27408) I have also heard a Mannford unit talking to another unidentified unit on unidentified talkgroup (26352) which I am thinking now belongs to Creek SO based on what I have heard in the past and what I heard recently.

Mannford does have one 800 radio in their dispatch. They have also applied for Homeland Security money to purchase 800 radios for all the officers. If they get the grant then they will be switching to the 800 Motorola system.

thats awesome, its been years but back in approx 96 i met some mannford officers while storm chasing, very nice fellas! i covered the train fatality a few months back in mannford and again very nice fellas, i even got pulled over leaving the scene for pushing the pedal a little too far,they recognized me and turned me loose ticket free and were very proffessional all the way, i also love mannford because of all the childhood memories at keystone lake, that will be great to get them on 800, if i were rich i'd buy the radios for them....
