heard something interesting

Was listening back from this morning and heard 2 LSP one asking the other if he still had his Nextel or if he had switched over already. What I found interesting was that he asked him if he had switched over already which makes me wonder if they are switching to something else from Nextel to

Red8 or anyone else have any info on this? Maybe they were talking about the LATIE system? If so are they going to get rid of all the Nextel's when switching over to the LATIE system?

I have not heard anything about that unless the Nextel is used as a cell phone service incorparated into LATIE. I know from what I read on the LATIE site that system was not only supporting voice but data
Blackberry, and wireless. The current system does not support all that.

Thanks for the reply red8. Must have been what they were talking about then . Think it will be interesting once the LATIE system is 100% in use.

Yepper, and since the upcomming MS 700 MHz system has the same qualifications... it could very well be interesting...
