The band must really be up! I'm sitting here in SW MO about 100 miles south of K.C. listening to WyoLink site 131 in Virgin Hill on 151.5275 this morning.

on 6-24-12 in early AM I heard in analog 2 planes talking on 165.2375
1 st Plane "I am airborne and have radar contact enroute to Hagerstown."
I have no idea his location enroute to Hagerstown MD I assume why radar contact i dont know what is it weather or what kind of radar. Once before i heard acft saying he was leaving Manassas airport straight up route 29 from me about 200 air miles or less i would assume unknown repeater location
2nd plane "We are over Lake Anna right now"
I assume this acft was over Lake Anna,VA sounded like through a repeater from maybe a mountain top site somewhere. I didnt hear any chopper wash in their voices maybe fixed wing maybe not. I am not aware of any repearters close to me on that freq but I have heard long distance coms from here b4 when state police was on highband beofre and after the digital switchn from northern va 200 miles away and richmond 150 miles away and appomattox 90 miles away and Culpeper VA about 120

I just looked up the location of the site in Google Earth and measured it out.I'm just over 639 miles from there!
