Heat shrink tubing

What tools does everyone here use for heat shrink tubing? I don't have a specific tool, so I'm using a lighter, but I want to see what does everyone use, maybe I haven't thought of some options.

My wife's hairdryer works pretty well.

Also her "embossing" tool, which is a hot air gun, works well.

Any good heat gun will do the trick, as will the methods above. Most heat guns can be had for cheap, and they can come in handy for stripping paint, too! Here's a quick sample of the current ones on ebay.

I use what ever is on hand. If it’s something sensitive then I will use a blow dryer, majority of the time I will use a lighter or the edge of the soldering iron.

I bought a heat gun from mouser that is small and made for heat shrink, only bad thing it was 60 bucks. Hair dryers are usually not hot enough.

Just use a cigarrette lighter!! Hold the flame a half inch from the shrink tube, and move it around so as not to burn it. Works like a dream. I use this method all the time

I use the old wooden kitchen matches. As posted above, keep the source of heat just close enough to see the tubing start to shrink. Too close, it will melt.
