Heathkit AJ-31 FM tuner, paint color?

Just picked a really nice Heathkit AJ-31 FM tuner. The tuner is really retro looking. The case appears to be a dark forest green but some is peeling off and under it is what appears to be Heathkit "Ham Radio Green. Any ideas? See enclosed pics.

Do a internet search - there were vendors which advertised sources for that type of paint.
You could try to restore it back to OEM or you could paint it any color you wished.
I think a hammertone gray would look nice on your radio.

Ignore the undercoat, it's primer. I had plenty of Heath equipment, the ham stuff was somewhat darker than the primer and consumer stuff came in a number of colors. Slightly dark with age that's the original color and I suggest you stick with it rather than ruining the collector value.
