New to me HW-8. An audiobard had been added and so I can run an external speaker. The board doesn’t look like the one currently available from 3rd Planet Solar. I am thinking about ordering one and replacing the one thats in there and see if it makes a difference.
I have to balance the RF gain and audio level or I get a solid feedback tone/squeal.
It sounds good on the wide setting when the RF Gain and volume are set but can and does often cause the feedback when switched to the narrow setting.
Other than that its working great.
However am looking for recommended mods that are most common. Any ideas?
