Hello scanner owners, just wanted to drop by to say good day to you all and especially to fellow scanner enthusiasts who currently own the RadioShack Pro-106 handheld scanner. As you Pro-106 owners are aware, the 106, like the PSR-500 has a steap learning curve, but it is one hell of a feature packed scanning device.
For those of you who own the 106, I invite you to check out a social group, right here on RadioReference. Its called the RadioShack Pro-106 Owners group, and its a fun little spot where owners of the 106 can come, have some fun, post thier serial numbers if they want, and show off thier Pro-106 Pride. Its a public group, anyone with a 106 can join, its informative, and friendly. Please come check us out, we currently have approx 80 members.
RadioReference members usually learn how to navigate through the RadioReference website very quickly, they use the database for frequency information, state specific forums and scanner mfr specific forums for assistance when needed, but many may not be aware that the RadioReference has so much more to offer. New RadioReference members may not be aware that there are pages of assorted social groups available, and this is just a little way of me letting you know about them. If you prefer, view all of the social groups, I highly recommend that, as you might locate a group that offers you additional support and friendships with common interests.
