Anyone use the ARC8 software? Im using the demo mode and there is an iternet option for radio referance web service, it says im not a contributing member? What does that mean and what needs to be done to become one? Thanks in advance. Would like to play with it before i buy it, unless there is better software out there..

Welcome aboard. I read for more than a year before I registered, and continued to read rather than post thereafter. There is a wealth of information via the "search" option on RR.

Welcome! RadioReference.com is by far the biggest scanning site on the net in terms of the number of frequencies in the databse. It has the most accurate database I know of right now and I am very proud to be part of the team. If you are really interested, check out the subscriptions, although you don't need one to get to the database, and you can also submit suggestions or newly found freqs.
