Hey everyone,

Im new the forum and to Scanners in general. I have always loved listening to the live feeds on this website and decided to join and persue my interest in scanners.

I am also a huge car audio guru, so I have a passion for wiring and electrical. I owna 2001 Chevy Tahoe that I currently have a old Midland 77-115 Weathermax II in the old Tape deck. I have had a great time messing with this CB and would like to add some more equipment.

I'll be sure to post some pictures up tomorrow of my current setup. Look forward to learning alot and purchasing my first scanner!

Thanks,
Taylor

Those were Motorola Systems 9000 Radios. Those are NOT scanners, they are real radios (transmit and receive). As a new user I recommend that you do not use older Motorola equipment because the tools you need to program those are expensive, and you need a special type of computer to program them.

I get Kirtlands Atis frequency on the UHF band. I have a frequency list written down. I don't remember the ATIS right now. I don't trust my own memory, so I always put everything down on paper.
