I only see one topic which makes it look like it's not very active here, due to the forum setting defaults which only show posts from the past month. Go back to the main Alaska forum, and look down near the bottom of the page for "Display Options". Click on the "From the" box, which will open up a window where you can select "From the beginning" which will display all posts in the Alaska forum.

I'm at the Anchorage Sheraton Hotel right now on my laptop scanning with my RS PRO-96. Man there is a lot of intermod here! I must be near a transmitter site..might be one on the roof of the hotel.

Rainy today and the next several days. Last night I flew up from Houston via Seattle and heading back to SEA-IAH at midnight tonight on the Continental flight. I'm the co-pilot. :)

Hello from the lower 48. This is a good place to ask as there were posts from Alaska locals here. Are there any locally produced frequency directories for Alaska? The best I have is from the 3rd edition of "Monitor America" and it is very outdated. The RR database looks good, but I often find that locally produced printed guides contain information such as maps and other information not shown on this website.

As for locally produced FREQ listings.. I have not found any in Fairbanks. As a matter of fact, I have obtained several FREQs from this site. Other sites may have the local frequencies, but they seem to maintained by people out of the area, so updates may or may not take place. If you need, I could compile some FREQs for the Interior (Fairbanks North Star Bourough) by dumping them from my pro-2096 including the local HAM repeters.
