Hello all,

I figured I had better come on here and introduce myself...been a member for two years or so...mainstay has been as a lurker so to say, and use the DB from time to time. The name here is Dan, I am a Ham (KC9KSN) since 07, and GMRS user (WQOC936) since 06. I don't use scanners that often (have a BC350C and BC800XLT), but I use commercial gear (/\/\oto and Kenwood) and also have programmed them to listen in on the public service bands and business bands. I am also a firefighter/EMT, left my old department due to relocation; and hopefully getting on a new one here shortly. I also dabble in radio repairs and modifications as well. I enjoy most anything radios very much...my wife likes the quiet time when I am tinkering!
