Help 996x or xt owners

Ever see the Road Runner cartoon where Wile E puts something in the mailbox and stands there by it tapping his foot waiting on the mailman and he shows up 10 seconds later with his Acme rocket sled?
Well, that's me waitinh for someone to tell me how to do a factory reset. Cant fimd my book from my 996T or the stupid cd rom for the XT. A button got pushed and its acting stupid. I wanna reset it and start over. 996 owners to the rescue???? Im standing....

From the users manual for the 996T, the factory reset is performed by turning the power off, then holding 2, 9, and HOLD simultaneously while turning the power back on.
