I am fairly well versed in the BCT15 & 15X scanners but I've run into a problem. We have a BCT15 and a BCT15X in our main console (public safety dispatch center). One of my well-meaning dispatchers was trying to find a nearby FD channel in the radio (they were operating at a multiple alarm fire) and in the process somehow enabled two service searches ("Air" & "Public Safety").
As a result, the scanner is now scanning the enabled user-programmed systems AND performing these two service searches.
The question - How do I disable these two service searches so we can get back to scanning JUST the agencies we need to be monitoring?
This has happened before and I figured it out then but for the life of me I can't figure it out this time around. I've done a search here and have had no luck. I've also tried the "manual" and no luck there as well. Thanks in advance for the help.
