Help finding parts (volume/squelch) pot for Pro-164

I've searched as best I can and I'm just not coming up with any leads.

Story is that I snapped of the volume knob (and shaft)... squelch knob still attached. I'm waiting to hear back from GRE to see if they can provide the part for a PSR-300. I called the local Shack and they said that over the last year the parts supply/ordering options have dried up.

Any ideas, parts numbers, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Brian, don't even bother with the stock knobs on the 164. Go to pacparts.com and search part #'s K29-5150-03 (volume knob) and K29-5159-03 (squelch knob). Get two each, just in case. Or, maybe 4 each for your 97's/164's. I've never had a problem with them getting loose over the last 4 years, and they are easier to use. Mind you, they are on my Pro-97, but they are the same on the 164 anyway. You won't be sorry.

RSU part number 12461653 for the squelch knob is in stock and will cost $3.49 plus shipping.

Thanks Matt.... my problem is I need the actual 'concentric pot' that the knobs attach to.... ie. the shaft is busted. ;-)

Ah, I see the problem. The knobs I mentioned are almost $3 cheaper per knob. Just helping where I can.
