Help for New 996XT User

Just received new 996XT for my birthday and I am a novice to say the least, especially when I try to understand the User Guide for this scanner so your help is appreciated. Turned on air freq's and now can not turn them off. How do I stop scanning Air and just get back to preprogrammed only?

Press Hold > Press Func > Turn scroll knob to Air > Double tap the L/O key before the Func icon is released.

Thanks much Kilow22, think my learning curve is going to be long. I am an architect and don't think I am the dullest knife in the drawer but the manual leave me at a loss....guess my brain does not fit this stuff. Sure seems like they could written a manual/user guide easier to understand at least for the basics. Maybe its just me.
