Ok I have a Home patrol. I am not picking up police,fire, med. nothing. I am not very knowledgeable about what I am doing. Can someone help.Thanks Judy

Have you tried looking on YouTube for an instructional video? Such as a video posted by PopComm1 titled simply "Uniden Home Patrol"?
Might be able to help but the Home Patrol isn't the best scanner for Saginaw because of the simulcast but may be able to help.

HP1 not picking up
Make sure you have updated your database as most of Michigan has rebanded. Simulcast should not be the cause of the problem although it may not always be received clearly. The other possibility is that what you want to hear has gone to encryption.
