i am visiting my kids here at ft wood and the system has changed. I have found at least 20 active frequency's and maybe several control changes. but no way to put them into systems and logical order. Can anyone offer any help as to where to find info on new setup here.
It still is erricson but when i program in the frequency in numerical order it wont track properly the only radio i have here is a bct-8. HELP PLEASE

Works fine for me..
I was just tracking the system on my way home from work..

current setup in my Pro 95.
001 CTL 406.1625
002 ALT CTL 406.5625
003 406.9625
004 407.3625
005 408.1625
006 410.1625

If 406.5625 is the control channel just switch out the first two and keep them in that order.
this is the same info as what is in the DB..

There is a possibilty that they may have a second system, as sometimes there is suspiciously little traffic.

thats the same setup i tried all week and if when i listened closely i was missing lots of replys and only hearing one side of the conversation most of the time, even though it was tracking. i was using too different radios with the same results. thanks for the info and if you have time please listen on you way home some more and see if you are getting the same results.
i will be back up for a week at thanksgiving.
sure would like to monitor like i used to
ps: my son in law works for the base and said a few months ago they all got new radios
for the entire base, but he could provide no other info

I'll have to listen some more then, I don't usually listen to their system much.

I was under the impression that it wouldn't track at all if I was missing some frequencies.
I will go by Radio Shack tommorow or saturday and see if he has any info, that's where I got the info for the FLW system from last time.

Can someone tell me if the new frequencies listed for Ft.Wood are digital and is the operation system MOT. I was hearing a lot of traffic from the post till this past week and now nothing. I cant even hear anything with the new frequencies pluged in. What do you suggest?

The information I have is that one of there systems is a Project 25 digital system, but I don't know what type of system it is. Could be Motorola, M/A COM, GE, it is anyones guess. If it is M/A COM you will not able to hear much of anything because of the IP [internet protocol] that they have in there communications cannot be received by a scanner.

Signal500,
I don't think this is correct, A M/A COM P25ip is system is up and running in the DC area and Several people have been successfully listening to it with the BC396....
