Help getting my scanner feed back on line.

Hi all
I am trying to get my new computer up and running as it should. One problem I've encountered is the in ability to use my imic to stream my scanner feed as I did with my old emac. I have a brand new imac .. The specs are as follows


System 10.5.6
2.4 Ghz intel core 2 duo
1 gig of ram


The error message I get "The audio input device is not available"


Before making the switch from the old computer to the new,it, was working fine.I mean the scanner feed.I was just having trouble with the computer itself so I chose to take the feed off line. I haven't tried reinstalling the imic software yet. IF anyone can help me get the feed back on line I'd appreciate it a lot. . .I should mention as a side note. The built in video camera works fine on this machine....

i liked his seattle feed,
he provided to all of us on his gre500 new scanner and now a new imac computer

if anyone has experience in imac arena, can this great group of scanner people,please help him out.

No I am using Nicecast. I think it's a mac only application.

My feed is back on line. I was getting an error message about Nicecast not being able to find the source. Silly me,I had to select the source. in this case the imic. . I am now streaming my feed with success. The feed link is King County, Washington Live Police, Fire, and EMS Scanners
